CAT HOSTICK
CAT HOSTICK a Canadian Screen Award-nominated film/television director & actress. Her directing can be found on platforms like Netflix, Crave, TVO, Prime, and Max. Best known for her expertise in the genre space, she recently directed four TV series for acclaimed horror director and executive producer Eli Roth (Borderlands, Cabin Fever) found on Max, as well as her newest half-hour comedy series, Poly is the New Monogamy.
With a background as an actress and stunt performer on Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated shows like Orphan Black, Cat brings a unique perspective to directing.
Most recently, she played Rose in The Martini Shot, starring alongside Matthew Modine, John Cleese, and Sir Derek Jacobi. The film has garnered multiple ensemble cast awards on the festival circuit. Cat's recent hype is for her starring role in the series Poly Is The New Monogamy.
Before transitioning fully into television directing, Cat co-founded North Film Co., a production company that produces and services 8-10 feature films annually, working with talent such as Tommy Lee Jones, Aaron Eckhart, and John Cleese. In 2024, she launched her new hit TV series under her banner, Dreamweaver Pictures, and continues to expand her slate of projects as a multi-hyphenate.
